Autopotenza LLC of Indianapolis is happy to help you get your Jaguar ready for the winter season. Cold temperatures, icy windows, and snowy winter roads are just around the corner, and you do not want to be unprepared. Take the necessary time now to get your vehicle ready for winter by following the steps below.

Prepare Your Jaguar for Winter

1. Check Your Wiper Blades & Window Washer Fluid

This may seem like a small task, but you will be so glad you have new wiper blades and a full window washer tank once the snow begins to fly. Are there any tears or holes in the rubber blades? Do they leave smudges or streaks on your windshield? If so, you may want to have our skilled Jaguar maintenance technicians replace them now while the weather is still fair.

2. Check Your Battery

Be sure to have your battery inspected before the weather turns cold or you find yourself stranded on the side of the road. Our technicians are ASE-certified, so you can be confident knowing that your vehicle is in trusted hands. When you bring your Jaguar in for a tune-up and we find your battery is not working at its best, we are happy to replace it for you. You will be glad you brought your vehicle in before those freezing temperatures arrive.

3. Pack an Emergency Kit

You are not officially ready for winter until you have packed an emergency kit. Include some or all of the items below to be completely ready for an unexpected snowstorm during a long road trip:

  • Flashlight
  • First aid kit
  • Jumper cables
  • Blankets
  • Extra set of warm clothes
  • Hats, gloves, and winter boots
  • Bag of sand or salt
  • Ice scraper
  • Snacks and bottled water
